Tutorial Tuesday: Cheating Zig Zag Placemat

Hey! Did you want to leave a link on Manic Monday Linky Party? Please do!

OK, so I didn’t post a tutorial last Tuesday, so I’m trying to get back on schedule. This is a tutorial I wrote up for my Patchwork & Quilting class and I thought I might share it with you guys.

The finished size is 12″ x 16″ (They’re 4″ square blocks.) There are also instructions for 3.5″ blocks with a size of 10.5″ x 14″.

Want the tute? I’ve written it up as a Google Document, so it’s easy to print, too. Click here to go see it.

Thanks for he tutorial! I may try this with a jelly roll to make a quilt top.

I love the footnote. It strikes fear in the heart of all who plagiarize!

  3. You are a jem. Thank you for sharing your tutorials, really super thanks. I might just try this one out on a pillow. :) I go for the little things in sewing. ;)
