Hello friends! What a nice Friday this is turning out to be! Savi’s gone swimming this morning, so I have a bit of time to sew after I post this, then I’m knitting with my friend Jae this afternoon. I need to make some hats for the little ones in my life. (No, not my little one – I wish I had a baby but that’s not very practical right now.) I bought this little cabled hat pattern on Ravelry, which I think tells you a lot about my sense of humour. And tonight we’re having Chinese takeaway so I don’t have to cook either! Woohoo! I’m hoping to get done with the baby quilt I showed you a peek of earlier this week, but that may not be possible as I’ll have to baste it after class on Monday if it’s too big to do it easily here on the floor…
Here’s some stuff that we’ve made this past week. Last Saturday I went to a Union Jack Pillow workshop and ended up making this:
Here’s the mug rug Savi finished with a bit of help from Mummy. I think she did an amazing job!
The two most popular links this week were:

Sarah from FairyFace Designs finished this adorable Ruby quilt using a pattern from Oh Fransson!

Katy of The Littlest Thistle made this adorable quilt block that I absolutely love!

P.S. Because I write a non-Blogger blog, I am one of those unfortunates who will lose my Google Friend Connect widget soon. I really value you as a reader and follower, and I’d like to ask you to consider following me on BlogLovin’, a free service built specifically for people to follow their favourite blogs, or by Feedburner, which is an RSS feed.
