Features and Totally Random Interweb Memes

Right, so I’ll get the funny and weird stuff out of the way first. A while ago I saw some pics on Pinterest that I thought were funny, so I followed the link and found Handmade Ryan Gosling, a Tumblr site. Seriously, you will laugh out loud.  And there’s a place to suggest your own quotes, which I could not resist doing. And yesterday they published mine!

Awesome, right? And why isn’t my husband as sweet as Ryan Gosling? Anyway, go have a look because it’s a very funny meme or Tumblr or whatever you want to call it.

We’ve got 2 features today! The first is from Richard Quilts, who is turning out quilt tops at an astonishing rate!:

And over at the Celtic Thistle, some very cool paper piecing is going on:

She’s using my friend Katy’s FPPFTT, which I highly recommend if you want to get better at foundation/paper piecing. Here is the link to this particular block’s download and destructions. Instructions. Ahem.

If you want a button, the code is on the right sidebar!
P.S. Because the Google Overlords want to force the entire planet into using their crappy social application, my Google Friend Connect has been cancelled. But you can still get me in your Google Reader (or any other reader) by clicking on the Feedburner (RSS) link below. 🙂

  1. Thanks Jenna, I got to use up some of my scraps from your QAL in this block, so it was a win all round!

Congrats to Richard, I love the colours in that quilt.

Off to check out Ryan Gosling site too (no idea who he is but happy to find out!).

  2. you do not need to have google friend, or any of these strange things, I still get to follow you, from before. I have not lost you, you are still coming through loud and clear!
