How was everyone’s weekend? I spent the WHOLE weekend sewing on my new machine, the Janome Horizon. I’m in love! I have lovely sewn things to show you, but I’m writing this at midnight on Sunday night so I’ll post the pics later this week.
Oh, and I have a HUGE favour to ask: I’ve got a friend & bee mate who’s having a very tough time right now with her ME who’s looking for a 9″ x 24″ strip of orange Santa Rosa California Dreamin fabric by Jenean Morrison -Here’s a Hawthorne Threads listing to see what it looks like. If you have some and you wouldn’t mind trading something else for it, I’ll give you a wide choice of one of my FQs as a trade so Rosanne can finish her foundation pieced quilt. I’m so glad you are having fun with your new machine! I love the Horizon – I think my husband sometimes gets jealous of it – but then before I had my horizon I was jealous of his xbox so I guess that makes us even. Saturday was a rough day in our house, but Sunday I got to sew a lot! Finished my Churn Dash Redux block – which I loved btw. Beautiful block and so easy to put together.
I was drooling over the Horizon at a LQS last week ! LUCKY YOU !!!! I have a Janome HT2008 ( 50 stitch one ) that I just L O V E , so I know I’d love your machine also !!!!
I do not have any of that GORGEOUS fabric ; but I have some orange Central Park that is similar ………. like in this picture :
