Feature Friday!

If you haven’t signed up for the Massive Giveaway Day, go there now! Then come back. I’ll wait.

First off, I have to send out a huge thank you to my mate Leah Day, who blogs at SewToBed, for her oh-so-awesome mug rug:

Yep, each of those squares were sewn together - they started out at a tiny 1"!

It literally is so precious that I can’t bear to use it as a mug rug – it’s being used as a decorative piece instead. And she sent me Dolly Mix and a Kit Kat and a beautiful hand sewn card. Thank you Leah, you totally rock!!!

Karen from Sew Much 2 Luv made this Spock-topus for her friend – isn’t that fab?

Sage Endeavors made two kinds of sugar hand scrup for herself and her husband – looks pretty easy!

Kiki from It’s Sew Kiki linked up her Around Town tote bag. She wrote a pattern for it, and is planning to sell it on Connecting Threads. She emailed me a copy to review, and it’s looking pretty sweet! I will keep you updated when it goes up for sale 🙂 ***If you get over there now, you can get in on the fabric giveaway!!***

Suzy from Suzy’s Artsy Craftsy Sitcom made these adorable seed packet stools out of some very plain stools she picked up for $5 each!

And now, for the Quilt portion of our show:

Mary of Quilt Genius made this firefighter quilt using their shirts for blocks – it’s really cool!

My mate Kelly from Blue Bird Sews finished this gorgeous rainbow quilt that I am very jealous of. 🙂

Sarah at Fairy Face Designs finished this Walk in the Woods It’s a Hoot! quilt, and I think it is absolutely lovely!

Jane from Things That Are Not Perfect has these pineapple blocks on her design wall – I really like the look of them and want to make a pineapple block mug rug tutorial – wonder if anyone’s interested?

That’s all I got! While you’re reading this I’m enjoying the Malvern Quilt Show! If you’d like a Featured button, they’re right here!
