Hey guys, how are you? I didn’t post yesterday because I was at Buckingham Palace on a day trip. Let me just say that I’d definitely live there if someone offered it to me. Do you think anyone will?
If you haven’t heard about the Table Runner/Wall Hanging Swap, get on over to the page, and scroll down to enter your info into the form and join! Sign ups run till the end of the month and you’ll have about 6 weeks to make your piece. I know we all have lots of sewing commitments, so this will be a ‘taking it easy’ swap. And there’s a Flickr group too!
And I have a button for those of you who have signed up or just want to support the cause:

And I have a couple of features as well! My friend Regena from The Distracted Domestic has published a tutorial for making this sock cow – isn’t it cute? I need to make a few for Xmas:
If you’ve ever wondered how to get perfect dresden petals, Karen from Listen to the Birds Sing has a little tutorial:

And my friend Kathleen at Always Sew Love has a little tute for making screen printed t-shirts without fancy equipment:
I’d also like to give a shout out to my very good, very supportive friends Shanna of Fiber Of All Sorts and Bonnie of Wonderfully Awkward. Talking to them on Twitter every day has made such a huge difference. If you’d like to talk to me via Twitter, why not follow me and send me a message?
