N.B.: I didn’t do enough research before writing this post, and discovered after publishing that the linky party is closed! LOL you’d think I’d have learned by now to thoroughly research EVERYTHING before acting. So you won’t find me in the linky list, but I have been wanting to write about my sewing plans anyway, so it worked out ok in the end.
So I just had to join the fun! I have a poop ton of stuff sitting around waiting to be sewn, and it’s nice to be able to keep track of everything. So this isn’t a complete list of my UFOs, but there are a few in there.
1. Finish my Easy HST quilt:
I’m using the Riley Blake Sugar and Spice FQ Bundle my mum brought over way back in spring. I decided to ease myself and my arm back into quilting larger things.I have a SUPER SECRET project, but I can’t share it yet, and I can’t quilt it either – it’s too big and pushing it through my machine will hurt my arm.
So I’m hoping to have my little aqua and red lap quilt done next week.
2. I need to make 2 I-Spy quilts for my nephews. Hopefully by Xmas. (Yeah, right.)
3. Make a playmat for my niece Olivia.
4. Make a quilt for Olivia. My friend Shanna even sent me the jelly roll, but my machine is too small to quilt it.
5. GET A BIGGER MACHINE FOR XMAS!!!! Does that count as Winter Stitching plans? I’m saving my teaching money to put towards a Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.0. Dana of Drinking Fabric has 2 brilliant reviews (a 4 day review and a 6 month review) and she keeps answering my stupid emails with even more stupid questions, but she’s sold me on it.
6. Finish the secret project.
7. Make the charity quilts from the first month of Sew Bee Blissful and the Cherish group of do. Good Stitches.
8. Finish Savi’s Jungle Bag. I’ve got the sides pieced and quilted but need to do the handles and assembly:
9. Baste and quilt my rainbow HST quilt from Jeni of In Color Order’s Warm Cool QAL.
10. After Xmas, I’m going to be offering a Sampler QAL which I’m designing right now. So that’ll be really fun!
Good Lord, how the hell am I going to get all that done this Winter? Because that’s not even counting my Knit List which is just as long! Jeez I need more hours in the day!

So not much on then… ;o) I had 22 things on my list (although several are actually catch-alls like a bee block a month) and January and February are going to be nuts! Still, it keeps us off hte streets ;o)
That`s really quite funny but that`s a great list and I`m sure Sarah will let you play along!
I’m in awe of you! I won’t even get a fraction of that done this winter. Right now I’m working on a chocolate brown corduroy coat for my daughter. After that, I want to start a couple of baby quilts (one of my daughter’s godmother who is expecting her first baby and one for my sister-in-law). And maaaaaybe I’ll make a Christmas dress for my daughter. That’s a big maybe, though. 🙂
