As promised, here is my pumpkin pie photo. The springform pan mentioned yesterday looked a bit too small, so I used an 9″ square cake tin. I used already-rolled-flat-shortcrust and the recipe from the pumpkin tin. And as you can see, it went down a treat – maybe it was the shavings of genuine nutmeg that did it? And the spray can of whipped cream – you didn’t think I’d make my own, did you?
Alas, our damn oven broke in the middle of cooking the turkey breast and potatoes. I had to cook it in the small top oven, the temp of which fluctuates wildly. So I guess next week is Appliance Repair Week for me. Sigh.
Now on to the sale. I want you guys to Kick Some Fabric Ass this weekend with me & my lovely sponsors! So here’s what’s goin’ on:

In my SewHappyGeek etsy shop, everything is 25% off if you use the code BLACK25. Perhaps you need to get your funky, quirky daughter, sister or mother a fun gift? You can’t go wrong with my Calaveras handbags! And the 25% off coupon also works for the PDF patterns as well!

Jody at Fabric Shoppe: Has a TON of fabrics in the Sale section – 170 to choose from! And some SUPER deals on FQ Bundles like Alexander Henry’s Larkspur FQ Bundle – 6 FQs for only $15!!! Ahhh! Actually, what with the birds and colours, I might buy this myself. So you might have to look at their other FQ bundles for yourself…

Brenda at Skye Reve Fabrics has a fantastic code to get 20% off everything! Just use the code BLACK. You could get 1/2 yd of EVERY fabric in the Bonnie and Camille Ruby line for only $129.60! Bingo!

And Julie at The Intrepid Thread has this Echo FQ Bundle for only $20! That’s only $2 for every FQ! She also has a FANTASTIC coupon code for 20% off everything! Just use code BLKFRI20 to get it!
So I hope you’re warm, eating delicious leftovers and saving a bunch of money today instead of out fighting the crowds and cold. Most of all I wish you were all here so I could give you hot drinks and gossip. Since that’s not very practical, please catch up with me on Twitter if you get the chance! I’ll be here all day!

The Pumpkin Pie Square looks yummy. I had every intention of making my own whipping cream but crapped out and used the handy spray can that was already in the fridge! Thanks for all the great links. 🙂
They pie looks delish! I already hit up Julie’s sale – had to buy some more Rendezvous – I think I am going to make your sampler along with you…if I can keep up the pace 🙂
La la la la la, I can’t hear you on those deals, la la la… (why isn’t it pay day yet damnit?!)
