Hello! How was your weekend? Ours was nice, but we didn’t get much housework done – no cleaning and no sorting out extraneous junk in order to facilitate moving to a bigger house. At this rate, we’ll never move anywhere. I did write a list, though. That’s an accomplishment of sorts, right? I wrote all the jobs we have to do to get the house ready to put it on the market. It’s a depressing list. Ugh. I’m tired of thinking about it already.
Anyway, I am pretty excited to see what you’ve all been up to!
Linky Party Rules:
- You can link anything you’ve created – an etsy shop, blog or tutorial, whatever.
- You can leave up to 2 links
- Please visit at least one other link and comment!
- I’ll be featuring a few on the blog on Feature Friday
- You are welcome to add my party button to your blog, but you don’t have to!
P.S. Because the Google Overlords want to force the entire planet into using their crappy social application, my Google Friend Connect has been cancelled. But you can still get me in your Google Reader (or any other reader) by clicking on the Feedburner (RSS) link below. ![]()

Thinking of putting your house up for sale certainly concentrates your mind on everything that needs doing to it! A list is definitely a good start
A list is absolutely an accomplishment! Good luck though with sorting and packing – that is my LEAST favorite part of moving! Then again, I was just going through some of my grandmother’s things – and it makes me want to move again just so I purge and stop keeping all my crap. I so don’t want to have a house/basement/attic full of stuff that has to be sorted through all at once! Yeah for new houses!!
Been there, done that. Never a party but so necessary. The first thing I did was packed up all the stuff we didn’t need for the next 6 months, like the Christmas decorations and the summer outside toys (I was going this in the fall) and we put them in a storage unit. The house was instantly less cluttered. It was so much easier to work on packing the every day stuff after that.
But then again, I am a movers daughter. Good luck with it. And if you want some help, just send me a plane ticket and I’m there! LOL
Jenna, thanks for hosting again! I’ve been absent from these weekly meet ups for a while – life gets in the way. Funnily enough we just sold our house, and have a similar list of jobs but ‘on the other side’ so to speak! Ugh. Oh well, thank heaven for sewing – keeps us sane, doesn’t it? xx
I hate moving! We have done it 6 times since we got married 4.5 years ago. Gotta love the military lifestyle. I will be so happy when we can settle down and stay somewhere forever!
linking up for the first time today
thanks for hosting
Wow – get me – I joined in twice! Thanks Jenna! x
I was cavorting round Ireland for the weekend. As for house moving, I think I’d rather visit your podiatrist… o.O Good luck!
