I have been swapping my big butt off lately. I got in the DQS 11 swap, and posted my secret partner’s stuff out last week. Since I know it got there fine, I can share it with you now:

It took me out of my pink comfort zone, and I’m glad I made it. BTW, it measures 18″ x 18″ and I used a Lumiere de Noel by French General charm pack as well as yardage.

I got this in the post yesterday from Kathleen of Always Sew Love. Her original partner for Mug Rug Swap v.2 fell off the grid, so I sent her a hexi mug rug, some fabric and some chocolate. When I got this package from her I was so overwhelmed. She had asked if there was anything I’d like (from the States) and I mentioned Swedish Fish – she got me 3 packages of them! She made the beautiful aqua matching necklace and bracelet, and even sent me fabric, embroidery floss and a small diary on top of that beautiful mug rug:

It has an ‘S’ on the back, so it’s going to Savi. It’s a surprise for her for when she gets home from her dad’s. She’s been wanting a mug rug of her own since I started making them, so I know she’s going to freak to get such a beautiful, personalised one! THANK YOU KATHLEEN!!!
