Sew. Happy. Quilt. Quilt Along Top Progress

I’ve put together this mosaic of some of the finished quilt tops in the Sew. Happy. Quilt. Quilt Along. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to see so many beautiful quilt tops made by the lovely ladies who climbed on my crazy bandwagon to join in my first ever quilt along. Their feedback has been unbelievably enthusiastic and positive, and has given me the confidence to start planning my first mini-quilt competition (more details soon, I promise!) and begin sorting out the next quilt along!

So I really want to thank you ladies, and let you know how much you’ve made me smile over the last couple of months. I’m torn between being thrilled to see the quilt top pictures rolling into the group and feeling very sad that it’s all coming to an end…

  1. This was such an amazing QAL – my first, bur not my last, since starting this one, i’ve gotten the confidence to join many more and I can’t wait till you host another! Thank you for helping me get over my fear of paper piecing!! 🙂

  2. I have to say I have so much enjoyed doing these blocks and participating. This was my first finished quilt top (minus quilting & binding) from start to finish and you made the process so easy. My only problem was since I was brand spanking new I cut my squares down to 12″ because I never knew 12″ finished really means 12 1/2″ before sewing all together. Oops! Needless to say I’m happy with the results and am looking forward to your next adventure!

  3. ‘And now, the end is near, and so I face the final quilt…’ Sorry, that was so bad 😉 The QAL has been fun, despite all those HSTs 😉

  4. I can honestly say I have loved every minute of your QAL. I can’t thank you enough for making it so a newbie could join up and for being so helpful when I’ve asked you a question. I am amazed my quilt top is one of those in your mosaic!!!
I can’t wait for the next one and have to say you have created a quilt addict!!!

  5. Thank you Jenna for everything. You picked beautiful blocks and created very good tutorials. I liked how you posted the layout and sashing options. That was very helpful. You did a great job! I really enjoyed seeing the different fabrics and layouts from everyone. I will post my finished quilt soon, I hope. I hope to see everyone’s finished quilts. They are all beautiful!

  6. Thanks for everything… Quilt top completed…. Now to quilt my quilt. I have a number waiting to be quilted. Guess I’d better get busy quilting NOT piecing!

  7. I had SO much fun and learned a lot from your QAL. I can’t wait to do another one. You were a great host and the tutorials were awesome. Thank you for adding mine to the mosaic too. 🙂
