PLAY Mini Quilt Competition WIP – Can You Guess the Card?? ;)

So, have you registered for the fab Sanourra’s Fabric Love jelly roll giveaway? Get over there right now! And Manic Monday Linky Party is still open too!

I’m SO thrilled to announce that PLAY, the mini quilt competition with TONS of great prizes, is now officially open! Woohoo! I’ve got mine nearly ready to baste (btw, I’m NOT entering into my own contest – that’s just stupid. It’s just a ‘for example’ quilt.) and I think it’s pretty obvious what card it represents:

I’m not quite finished stitching my lady yet, and obviously she needs a face! But what do you think, so far? I meant to get her finished and quilted by today, but my mojo seems to have gone on holiday and I’m having trouble doing anything besides pack and think about packing. We hope to have the house on the market in a few weeks.

I sure hope you join us to have a go in PLAY – there are TONS of gift certificates up for grabs, and your chance of winning one is pretty high as it’ll probably be a small pool of people participating. Go check out the page for more details.

To make things more exciting, you might decide you want to swap with a friend after you get done – that way you’ve entered the contest AND end up with a super special swap gift to yourself! Any questions about PLAY can be emailed to me at sewhappygeek (at) 🙂

P.S. Because the Google Overlords want to force the entire planet into using their crappy social application, my Google Friend Connect has been cancelled. But you can still get me in your Google Reader (or any other reader) by clicking on the Feedburner (RSS) link below. 🙂

  1. Love the queen! Sorry you have lost your mono! It will be sure to come back soon, I just know it! As soon as you finish packing probably 🙂

  2. oooh, i love it! i’ve been so obsessed with that style of diamond image lately! i’ve been planning a diamond quilt too, but it hadn’t occurred to me that it fit the parameters of the competition!
