I hope you are all having a lovely week. 🙂 There are only a few days left to sign up for Mug Rug Swap v.2! And you can still get in on Manic Monday Linky Party!
I have to be brief today, but I wanted to tell you about a Quilt Along that I’ve recently joined (my first one ever!).
Jeni from In Color Order is a whiz with color. She wrote a series on fabric and colour which I’ve read at least twice. That’s how good it is!

In the spirit of celebrating colour, she’s hosting a Warm/Cool quilt along which looks really fun. And if you don’t want to make a huge quilt, there are instructions for a mini one measuring 20″ x 20″. Or you can make a baby quilt or a twin quilt – your choice! I guarantee you will learn LOADS about how colour works in fabrics, how different colours affect each other’s impact, all kinds of stuff!
Here is the first post, which has a colour refresher.
And here is the second post, which discusses fabric requirements.
Here’s my palatte:

I am so signing up to join in Jenna. I went though my fabric last night but I discovered I have a LOT of multi color prints … oh well, guess I will have to go buy some more fabric! POOR ME! lol I have not one hst’s yet so I am excited to learn something new and get to know some more quilters!
The pink dot on the top looks like the DS line at JoAnns? That’s my favorite print from that line, if that’s what it is 🙂 I like your color selections. I’m not doing this QAL but I read a lot of people who are and I’m looking forward to seeing it come together. Values quilts are so interesting to me! Good luck!
